Pleasant Surprise

We have a lot of improvements we want to do to the outside of the house. We generally are not fond of the current landscaping. Everything is very random.

There is an old garden plot, and I went ahead and planted some vegetables and herbs in the garden. I'm not sure how great they will grow, as the spot doesn't seem to be the sunniest. Around the garden are miscellaneous bushes that need to be cut down. But we haven't gotten around to it yet. So imagine my surprise when one of the "to be cut down" bushes bloomed these beautiful peonies.

I think I'll let it stay!
