I am enjoying Oliver’s moving around. Even though I have to stop him every five minutes because his favorite toys are not toys at all. He makes me laugh. I believe he is thoroughly bored with the family room, which is the room we are in the most. And gets such enjoyment out of exploring all other rooms. And he is getting faster, not to mention learning shortcuts to get to his favorite objects. The toys of choice this week are curtains, and registers, and electrical cords.
Bella is currently working on getting her 4 eye teeth in, all at the same time. She has been doing pretty well with it, but we can tell some days she isn’t quite herself. And on occasion she has been waking up crying in the middle of the night. Last night she was crying enough that she broke blood vessels in her face again. I let her sleep in and stay home from school today.
At this point Bella is unamused by her brother. He likes to crawl over her and most times take her toys. She is pretty patient with him, but will often turn away and do her own thing ignoring him. In the early mornings she sometimes gets in bed with me once Jesse gets up for work. Recently on the few mornings that Oliver is also up early and joins us, she goes from being happy and very chatty to being silent and pouty. You can definitely tell she doesn’t want to share her special time in bed with mom with her brother.
