Oliver at 4 months
The first thing out of everyone’s mouth at the doctor’s appointment for Oliver was “that kid is not 4 months old”. Yes we have a mini giant on our hands!
Height = 27 1/4 inches (greater than 98%)
Weight = 15lb 13oz (65%)
He is now in 6-9 month sleepers and quickly growing out of them. We got the go ahead to start him on solids. We are going to start with veggies, since he has a little bit of a poop problem and cereals won’t help. So I stocked up on some squash and sweet potatoes and need to puree them up. I’m hoping Bella will enjoy them also, it’s been awhile since she has had plain veggies.
As mentioned previously he is now a tummy time fool. It’s exciting for us to see, since he is now developing skills Bella never had. He is also trying to do mini sit ups when he is lying down. I caught him trying to straighten himself up when we were posing for pictures.
His pediatrician commented that it wouldn’t be long until he was sitting on his own. But currently he has no balance, so it will be interesting to see how accurate her prediction is.
He is such a happy kid and a blessing for us!
