Jesse has been busy working on a little outdoor project. It’s actually not so little. But it is one of those things that you would think could be done in a couple of weekends, and has since taken over 4 months and really still isn’t complete. Except now the weather is crappy, so the projects will have to come back inside.
Our little old tree house was in dire straights. It really looked like it was going to fall down and definitely made our back yard look “janky” as my husband would say. We had the concrete guys pour a pad underneath when they were doing the driveway. Jesse demolished the upper half of the tree house. Then slowly went about trying to turn the bottom of the platform into a shed.
Which included jacking the whole structure up, so you could walk underneath it without ducking.
It now has been painted and has a roof on it, but is still leaking water. And we can’t do anything that would block the water while the temperatures are low this winter. So this project is on hold until next spring.
Can I get a “WaWaa”?
Also as a side note. I’m not sure if everyone is aware that Jesse has started his own blog The Bod's Beef. It’s his own outlet to talk (dare I say complain) about projects, the kids, his wife (I’m sure it will come at some point) and his out of nowhere favorite passion Investing in the Market. Hey at least if he’s talking to the blog about investing, he is not boring me with it. I’m just kidding…okay I’m not….but he is already aware of that!
