This past weekend we made a trip up to Nebraska. We had plans to attend the Nebraska/Ohio State game, well tailgate at the stadium. My brother was also on leave from Afghanistan, so we got to hang out with him a little bit. Sadly we realized after we got home, that we didn’t take enough pictures.
It was a nice break from the kiddos as we left them with Grandma and Grandpa Sneller and headed up to Lincoln. Although it seems like when we go back for games we have so much fun out with friends it ends up being a long day and night, and then we don’t actually get any more sleep than if we were home.
Do you ever wish you had more candid photos taken of yourselves, so you aren’t just posing together all the time. Here is our attempt….

On Sunday my parents had a small gathering of family to see Jer and meet Oliver.
And then back to KC we headed. Both Bella and Oliver did great on the car ride. Oliver slept the whole time both ways. It makes traveling a lot easier when you don’t have to worry about whiny crying kids.
