Today was our big family excursion to Crown Center/Union Station.
We first headed to Union Station to check out the train display.
Bella even got to eat breakfast in front of the trains. Which really means, in order to get all the activities in we wanted to do, we had to leave home before feeding Bella breakfast. So we had to pack a bag full of goodies so we could feed her while we were there.
Next we actually headed to Fritz’s restaurant. Oliver was in heaven. He got to watch the trains right next to our table, and flirt with the table full of 10 year old girls behind him.
When your food is ready, the train drops it off from above.
After lunch we tried to see Santa, took one look at the very long line, and turned right around. We headed outside to a playground/park they had set up with different modes of transportation.
Bella really enjoyed being outside, and she got a turn to try the different vehicles.
Of course she wouldn’t smile for the cameras. Oliver’s favorite vehicle was the fire truck. It was hard to get him to get out of it!
We even managed to fit in one family picture.
It really was a great morning and a great outing. Oliver was asleep in the car within 5 minutes of leaving.
Enjoyed all the cute pics of your family outing to Crown Center/Union Station! So glad everyone had fun! Looks like something G.ma & G.pa would like to take part in some year with the grandkids, as well! :) Oliver is really fascinated with all the trains he saw that day!
