Oliver learned a new skill. In learning this skill he is also learning to play with his sister. He figured out that if he holds a toy long enough in the air above Bella, she will grab it from him. He then gets super excited and squeals. Of course he then grabs it back from her and runs around, only to come back and try it again. I have to be there, because if she doesn’t grab it soon enough for him, he then proceeds to try and shove it in her face so she will take it. But it’s fun to watch him learn to give her things, and Bella trust him enough to grab it from him.
Oliver is also super excited about being outside. He seems to think if he puts on shoes then that means we can go outside. He found some of my flip flops laying around and insisted on wearing them and trying to walk to the door so he could go outside.

ReplyDeleteWearing my shoes is probably Beckett's favorite thing to do these days! He also thinks that shoes=going outside, so he'll bring us our shoes first, and then his. Maybe we should just put the boys together with a bunch of shoes and have a few minutes to relax.
Such a cute story about Oliver and Bella! (Grandpa & I both laughed out loud reading that one! :)) It will be fun to watch them interact!
